Terms and Conditions
Manning's EXTRA is a Special Order Service for items we do not usually carry in stock but can readily obtain, normally within days for onward delivery to you. This new service enables us to provide you a much wider choice of products for those who are happy to wait for a few days or so, these products are clearly identified within the site. Other websites often sugest that items are in stock and you only find out after parting with your money that items are not available, our service honestly and clearly lets you know what the score is. Should you wish to purchase any Manning's EXTRA item(s), it could not be easier, just take your item(s) to the check-out, you will be contacted and informed how long this item will take to come into stock. If you are still happy to proceed your item(s) will be ordered and at the same time you will be billed. As soon as your order is received it will be despatched to you as normal and in accordance with delivery instructions.
Out of Stock / Special Order message
If the Out of Stock / Special Order message is displayed it means that the item(s) selected are either out of stock or it is a special order item.
i) Out of Stock - It may be temporarily out of stock until replaced by a delivery from the supplier. It could also mean the stock is indefinately out of stock for the forseeable future, in any case you will be contacted and offered the opportunity to wait for the item, change the item for a suitable or similar replacement or lastly offered a refund for the item ordered.
ii) Special Order - This item is not in stock, but can be ordered and will be dispatched as soon as it arrives to us. Again you will be contacted to give you an estimated (not gauranteed) timescale.
In both cases you are contacted to ensure you wish to proceed with the order. You may still cancel your order after your payment has been processed, but before the item has been ordered.
Conditions of sale
Manning's Fishing Tackle wants you the customer to be satisfied whenever you shop with us. With this in mind please rest assured that your transaction will be handled professionally and as promptly as possible.
Making A Purchase
We accept payments from all major credit/debit cards. Our store is currently for UK orders only. Payment is in Pounds Stirling only.
Should any pricing or description errors occur, i.e. we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Where we no longer stock a product, you will be contacted. We will offer you a full refund or you may wish to try an alternative product. We will refund the difference if it is less than the original, and we will let you know if there is any additional charge for the alternative. We will in any case contact you before the item is sent. You are not obliged to have the item in all cases.
To protect our customers and ourselves from internet fraud, all purchases over £100 can only be shipped to the billing address.
Delivery Charges
From as little as £0.75.
Spend over £50 and delivery is free.
Next day deliveries, orders must be placed before 0900 hrs the day before the intended delivery day. Orders placed on Friday will be dispatched for delivery Monday. Next day deliveries arrive between 8.30am and 6pm. Someone must be available to sign for the delivery. Additional charges may be apllied for missed of non-delivery. It can be sent to a workplace if this is more convenient.
Some highland postcodes will receive a minimum two day service.
Delivery costs are based on products size, weight and value.
All delivery times are estimated (not guaranteed) and assuming all items are in stock. Part delivery's may be considered.
Deliveries are made by either Royal Mail or Courier service.
Some Items may have to be ordered and can take upto 21 working days or more to arrive in stock. In this instance you will be contacted and informed of such delay.

Q. What if manningstackle.com is out of stock?
A. We will normally contact you within 48 hours to let you know what is happening.
Q. It's been 2 weeks since I placed my order. No one has contatced me, and I'm still waiting for it.
A. Call us! We don't call every customer, and it should in most cases get to you within 2 weeks.

Gaurantees
Most items have a manufacturers guarantee (Usually 12 months). All goods sold comply with current legislation and consumers are reminded that these items and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Please ensure that you follow the manufacturers guarantee guidelines to ensure the products purchased are fully covered by the guarantee. Please contact the manufacturer if the product is faulty or to seek advice about the product.
Returns Policy
We will accept any unwanted items as long as the goods are in the original condition and packaging as they arrived to you.
If Faulty or Damaged goods are received please contact the store on 0845 521 2760 within 48hours of receipt. Faulty or Damaged goods may need to be sent to suppliers for repair. This can be done directly or we can return it for you (postal charges may apply). It is your responsibility to keep all relevant documentation to ensure a valid guarantee.
The following action must be completed for a full no quibble refund to be issued.
1/ We must be notified within 48 hours of any items received damaged or items not wanted.
2/ Goods for return or exchange must be sent back to Manning's Fishing Tackle within 14 days of receipt. DVDs and CD ROMs may only be returned for replacements of the original ordered goods.
3/ Send returns to us at the address below via a secure Post Office service. (Royal Mail Special Delivery service recommended).
4/ Please include the invoice (contained within the parcel) with the goods, a cover letter letting us know what the issue is and your name and contact number, so that we know whom they are from.
NOTE - Returned items are at the cost of the customer if ordered incorrectly.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http//www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
With this being a United Kingdom based e-commerce site, in situations of legal matter the UK law is the applicable law.
Upon receipt of the goods we will, send replacement goods or issue a full refund for the price of the goods returned. The goods must be in saleable condition. In other words;
- The tags have not been removed
- The garment or tackle item has not been used, worn or damaged
- The item is returned in its original packaging undamaged
We will issue the refund (or send out an exchange) within 28 days. Refunds to credit cards may take up to 10 working days to show up on your statement, due to banks processing times.
