The ultra-fast blanks use our well proven “Tri-Modulus Carbon” Technology. We use a subtle mix of different modulus carbon fibres down through the blank, to achieve the exact action required – a fast, but sensitive tip, with a smooth, progressive power curve down through the blank. To help achieve this, we use a unique carbon lay-up, called ‘Helical-Core Construction’, whereby strips of carbon pre-preg matt progressively overlap one another to create an ultra-light, but immensely strong blank, with a gradually increasing stiffness. A section of the blank is left exposed to show this distinctive construction method.
Having perfected the blank, we then set about creating the ultimate Bass spinning rod. A short butt section tucks neatly inside the elbow & allows easy casting & quick hand change, as required. Fitted with a quality Fuji reel seat & high density ethafoam grips for comfort and finished with lightweight, machined aluminium fittings, with a light metallic blue anodising, to complement the lustrous deep blue of the blank.
Fitted with low-profile guides, which provide quick ‘taming’ of coils coming off a fixed spool reel at high speed. Lined with Sic rings, for ultra-low friction & maximum line speed. These ‘new-generation’ guides are finding favour with the top Japanese brands, as they provide top performance, but unlike the more conventional single-leg rings, will also stand up to rough handling if you are ‘rock-hopping’ craggy shores.
