Unlike the other three rods, this rod was designed with a softer butt and steelier mid section to allow it and the rock-hopping shore angler to fire the BIG poppers and contrasting deep divers across the shoreline.
The power is generated through the mid section when casting big lures, similar to the way some of our beach rods work.
When casting bigger weights through slow loading and less physical effort, and slowing the cast down means the rod does the work. This gives the tip the ability to move larger lures and enables full control over the speeds needed for them to work properly.
